Choices – To Kill A King
If it wins, and you voted I will pay you each £5. Listen to all of it, its a slow start however is excellently structured (musically). I believe that the skill that went into the production of this ensemble can be repeated tastefully, yes with effort but hopefully with fun along the way :p I love you all fellow music technians.
I have a dream
Ps I love 1.58

What instruments count as acoustic? There’s this huge debate in the facebook group right now, and no one seems to know for sure.
Hi Laurence
This is a good question and the answer is, any instrument that doesn’t use electricity to amplify the sound is classified as an acoustic instrument. I wouldn’t worry too deeply about this part of the Task 3B specification. As it is aimed at getting the students to record a wider range of instruments than they did for AS, the marking criteria is very loose regarding this aspect of the brief (Almost non existent).
I hope this helps clear this one up. https://musictechstudent.co.uk/webinars/teaching-music-tech-webinar-task-1b-3b/
Hi, I have a question regarding the 3B instructions for 2017-2018. For “four percussion instruments (Topic B)” can I record a drum kit with 4 parts as the 4 instruments (e.g. snare, kick, hihat, crash) or does a drum kit only count as 1 percussion instrument. Thanks
Hi, Unfortunately the drum kit only counts as 1 percussion instrument. To fulfil this brief I would use a combination of Drum Kit, tambourine, shaker and hand drum. Remember not all have to be playing at the same time.
I hope this helps
